January 2015

Nana and Pop came in town for a visit.

My sweet husband...

I checked on the status of the "foundation" today and found this caution sign he made. I asked him what it was and he said "well I just hung a sign because I didn't want anyone to accidentally fall into the hole while I'm working on the house." This boy.

We went down to Brazos Bend State Park for the day and the kids had a blast! (Caleb is eating bark)

We stopped for a lunch break. Audrey is just like her daddy... rarely serious.

The kids loved learning about the red milk snake

We have had quite a few picnics by the fire lately

And family worship by the fire

The kids all got new scratch and sketch art books for Christmas and they love them. It's rare to find something that keeps them all equally engaged.

School by the fire. So cozy!

We are in the process of tearing down the old sand box and rebuilding it even better and in a new location.

The girls love to do things mama does. They frequently ask if they can wash their faces just like I do.

Family adventure walk

Audrey asked if she could get her "maggots" (magnets) and do her school

Madison the fashionista strikes again

When the baby wakes up there is no shortage of little mommies ready to go get him

Sunday pic

Daddy's birthday morning wakeup crew was looking lively. Donuts in bed for the birthday man. And Yes, your eyes do not deceive you, Madison did come out of her room this morning in her bathing suit this morning.

Birthday boy requests dirt cake. Dirt cake he gets.

I love these people

Sunny and 75 in January!

Jordan turns 35

Jordan thank you for being a man of God who daily encourages, protects, leads, provides, and sacrifices for me and our family. You are a walking testimony to God's goodness and faithfulness. All Glory to HIM who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.
Praising God for YOU today as we celebrate your birthday.

9 months old

Sweet boy you are growing so fast. It's already been 9 months. You are such a blessing to our family. We adore you and cannot imagine life without you. You are sweet and cuddly and fun. You are a good eater, good sleeper and almost always content. You love to be outside and you love being in the water. You also love it when I wear you or hold you.

Audrey thought you needed a little makeup so she put some mascara on you when mama wasn't looking. You are such a trooper.

You still fall asleep nursing about once a week for one of your naps or bedtime and I know these days are numbered and so I linger as long as possible and soak it up.

Your first Christmas! You are wearing the same Santa outfit Hunter wore 6 years ago.

You got your first virus over the New year. You ran a temp of 105 and you felt pretty terrible, you hung out on me for a few days.

Sweet boy. I love you so
