Nana and Pop came in town for a visit.
My sweet husband...
I checked on the status of the "foundation" today and found this caution sign he made. I asked him what it was and he said "well I just hung a sign because I didn't want anyone to accidentally fall into the hole while I'm working on the house." This boy.
We went down to Brazos Bend State Park for the day and the kids had a blast! (Caleb is eating bark)
We stopped for a lunch break. Audrey is just like her daddy... rarely serious.
The kids loved learning about the red milk snake
We have had quite a few picnics by the fire lately
And family worship by the fire
The kids all got new scratch and sketch art books for Christmas and they love them. It's rare to find something that keeps them all equally engaged.
School by the fire. So cozy!
We are in the process of tearing down the old sand box and rebuilding it even better and in a new location.
The girls love to do things mama does. They frequently ask if they can wash their faces just like I do.
Family adventure walk
Audrey asked if she could get her "maggots" (magnets) and do her school
Madison the fashionista strikes again
When the baby wakes up there is no shortage of little mommies ready to go get him
Daddy's birthday morning wakeup crew was looking lively. Donuts in bed for the birthday man. And Yes, your eyes do not deceive you, Madison did come out of her room this morning in her bathing suit this morning.
Birthday boy requests dirt cake. Dirt cake he gets.
I love these people
Sunny and 75 in January!
