October 2014

This month Jordan and Hunter took off to Medina Children's home along with our family class at church. They spent the weekend remodeling an area and turning it into a workout facility for the campus. The boys had a fun and hard working weekend together.

We also went to Canton 1st Monday to see Papa's store with the family

School in session and a day dad is working from home... I love these kind of days!

Best friends

The girls came in to join me for a feeding session with Caleb. Cuties.

Fun night out at a favorite BBQ place with my favorite people!

Family worship

Snuggles with my angel Audrey

Art time

Daylight savings morning....4:30am

Nana came in town for a visit. Goodbyes are so hard!

Hunter finished level 1 of his All about Spelling Curriculum

We like to celebrate these milestones with a date! He picked ice-cream date. Just the 2 of us. Oh how I treasure this sweet time with just my Hunter.

Audrey is following in her big siblings footsteps... getting some piano practice in.

Vivi and Rebekah came for a visit. I love the way Audrey is looking at her in this picture.

Storytime (captured by dad)

Dad made a tend/fort for the big kids to sleep in one night. They loved it!

We went to Dallas for a visit.

Making memories with Pop.

Audrey is at it again with the markers. This girl!

We had a rare opportunity to go to a football game together as a family! Jordan is usually coaching at Fort Bend on the weekends but he had an off weekend so we went to the homeschool football game and got to see some friends play!

Rough picture... so much going on haha but REAL life.

My angel face with ice-cream all over her face.

Backwards night... dessert before dinner (ice cream before pizza)

Hunter is really into doing snap circuits right now.

The Sunday pictures. I am always amazed at how much older they look. Time slow down!

6 months old

Caleb you are 6 months old now! Just like that half a year is already gone.

This month we have been letting you chew on some baby mum mums. You mostly fumble them onto the floor but the few bites you have successfully gotten in your mouth you seemed to like. Most of all I think you like the idea of being at the table with us.

You are still such a momma's boy which I am totally okay with! When other people hold you, your head is always spinning around trying to see where I am...making sure I have not gone too far!

Madison loves to "babysit" you which basically means be the one who plays with you on the floor, get your pacifier, hold you or sing to you. Pretty much she just loves being a momma.

Hunter loves to make you laugh!

Audrey is always keeping you safe. If she sees you doing something she think is dangerous she will yell "oh no! kaybe! She calls you KB instead of Caleb...her best attempt at saying your name which is precious.

You are such a content and happy baby.

Sometimes you let me take naps with you on my bed. I know that this window of opportunity is dwindling so I selfishly snuggle you as long as I can while I can! I could watch you sleep for days. You are a good sleeper and nap just fine in your crib but sometimes I steal you for snuggles. You sleep about 10-12 hours a night in your crib. You usually wake up around 10-11pm for a quick feed and then sometimes up again for a quick 5am feed. But you have gone some nights straight through from about 8:30pm to 8:30am. You are our first night owl baby. You stay up MUCH later than your siblings did at this age and seem to come alive after about 5pm wheras the other 3 were barely making it to a 6pm bedtime at this age. Getting you into bed by 8:30 is about the earliest you go down. Sometimes it's not until 10pm! I enjoy the one on one time with you at night though since my attention is divided in the daytime we get lots of snuggles in the evenings.

You are starting to get up on all 4's and rock back and forth.

Again....I can't put you down. This is one of my favorite parts of the day.

At your 6 month well visit you were 28.5 inches long (98%), 18 pounds 11 ounces (70%), and your head was 17.76" (91%). You are sitting up unassisted, getting up on all 4's and trying your best to make the transition between belly and sitting up on your own. For the most part you scoot backwards everywhere or army crawl forwards. You are determined to keep up with your siblings!

You are definitely a momma's boy right now. You prefer me ALWAYS!

We love you so much Caleb and are so glad God gave us you!
