Beekah and James visit

This weekend Rebekah and James came down for a little Christmas in February. They came bearing Christmas gifts and Valentines goodies. The kids have been looking forward to their visit all week long!

The kids got in plenty of snuggles with both of them this weekend. Maddie asked Rebekah today if they were going to miss her after they left :)

Rebekah came in a few hours before James and was lucky enough to get to experience one of their nightly "shows" which basically involves us watching them play with their toys. They don't usually talk during their shows but rather demonstrate what each toy does....silently. For Friday night's show Rebekah got to watch "park" which is where Hunter parks his vehicles...and we watch. Haha this is such a great age.

We played, read books, watched movies, went on a walk, opened presents, and ate a ton of food it was a nice relaxing weekend!

Hunter was pretty excited about his presents. He loves to build things and they gave him a pretty elaborate bridge and a crane that he and daddy worked on building together throughout the weekend, it now sits proudly in his room.

I think it's safe to say that the Karoke machine that Audrey received was a big hit. They had a blast singing and laughing and making noises on it for hours.

Maddie got a lot of fun hair extensions, bracelets, necklaces, earrings and this cute purse which she insisted on carrying to church this morning.

We went to church this morning and then to Cheesecake factory for brunch before Rebekah and James left to head back to Dallas.

Vivi also sent some goodies for the kids and they had a blast playing with these light rings while daddy and I watched the Super Bowl tonight.

We had a fun weekend and are always sad when we have to say good-bye. Hunter and Madison ask us all the time why we can't live in Dallas or why Rebekah and James can't live in Houston. They LOVE to spend with their aunt and uncle!
