Aunt Beekah visits

Aunt Beekah drove down for a visit this weekend. The kids LITERALLY waited in the street for her to arrive. Excited is the understatement!

They had fun playing and working on Tae Kwon Do moves :)

She joined us for our adventure walks

And swam with them

And enjoyed lots of snuggles

She painted the girls toes. I LOVE the expressions on their faces.

Hunter was quite the gentlemen and carried her bags (that weighed about as much as him) out to her car for her. Sweet boy!

It's always SO hard to say goodbye to her.

We can't wait until next time!

Snap Fitness

Last year, before Jordan signed with the Redskins, we were actually days away from purchasing a Snap Fitness Franchise. Jordan got the call from the Redskins and decided to give it one more year in the NFL and it was a great experience! We are so thankful that he was able to get that closure. When we moved back in January he was ready to make the purchase and move to the next phase of life! We purchased it this past Spring and have been pretty much working on getting everything ready for opening ever since. We are so excited to FINALLY be in the final stages. Our equipment is being delivered this week and all the finishing touches are coming together. It will be open before we know it!

The building is close to 5,000 sf and the best part is it's only 3 miles from our house right on
Highway 6.

This was a pic after the old buildout was demolished.  The buildout took a few months to finish which is what slowed the whole process down the most.

This is the most recent picture...just before our equipment arrives!

15 months old

Oh sweet girl you are 15 months old. This is one of my favorite stages of toddlerhood. You are getting so confident, opinionated and independent. Your little personality is beginning to shine though and I just love it! You are in to everything, constantly trying to do what Hunter and Madison are doing and curious about everything you shouldn't be into. You are so stinking cute I just don't know what to do.

You remind me so much more of Hunter at this age than Madison. One of the funniest things about you is your protectiveness of your personal space. You can get violent if someone tries to get in your personal space uninvited. At the doctor for instance when they come in close to listen to your heart or look in your ears you will block them with your hand and turn away and yell out. I mean like REALLY block them...full arm maneuver. I can't help but laugh out loud (mostly because you have never done that to me haha) but also because it just shows you ain't takin' nothin' from nobody! You are one tough cookie. Perhaps it's being the youngest and it's just sheer survival technique, I don't know, but it kind of makes me laugh and also reminds me of myself as a kid.

You are growing like crazy and are as tall as a 2 year old now. You are 33 inches tall (98%), 22.10 pounds (40%), you wear size 4 diapers, size 4/5 shoe, and size 18mo clothes. You are mostly down to 1 nap now it's been a transition for about a month now. You sleep from 6:30/7:00pm to 7:45/8:00am and take one nap from about 12:00-2:30/3:00pm. You eat what we eat and favor fruit and meat. You drink coconut milk with meals and water with snacks. You help yourself to snacks and bring them to me for me to open.

You are still a momma's girl. You are my biggest hip baby of all our kids and honestly I love it. I love carrying you around and teaching you as I go. You play alone very well too and with Hunter and Madison. You can go off for about 20 minutes on your own and then you come in for a quick hug and kiss and go back off to play. When you are getting tired or hungry you stick around and like to stay near me and do what I do... on my hip of course. You are my little buddy. I love to see you round the corner, hands held high, smile on your face just begging to be picked up and snuggled. LOVE THAT.

You love to perch on things.
You climb on everything and then stand tall and look around like....

Look what I can do
,
I'm awesome

I'm doin' this

What's happenin'...did you see what I just did?

I love how you want to be apart of the family.
You look around and watch what we do and then you join in.

You love the sandbox. Pretty much you just love to be outside.
It's your happy place.

You enjoy your makeshift toddler pool.
Something to keep you cool when Hunter and Madison swim without us.

It's pretty hot here in June/July. But we HAVE to figure out a way to let y'all play outside.
Whatever works!

You love our daily family walks. You always try to go off on your own.

You started smiling for the camera this month.

What a sweet girl you are.

You love to swim. You do really well all alone in the puddle jumpers. You are pretty brave and will jump off the side of the pool into the water and kick your legs back over to the side.

One of my favorite things about summer is eating our meals outside and then having popsicles. You love popsicles!

Perfect photo op. You guys all lined up in order of age to watch the neighbors dogs play.
So Stinkin' cute.

We had the Leeser boys over for a swim. You all had a blast.

Madison loves to brush your hair and you let her! I loved that you happened to be putting on some lipstick while she fixed your hair. You two are going to have SO much fun growing up together so close in age. I love the little relationship you have already developed. It makes me so happy.

Sweet Audrey,
You are such a joy to us. We all just love you so much. Your brother and sister are so tender and sweet with you and watch over and protect you and want you to follow everything they do. They wait on you, teach you, love on you and play with you. You love to be with them and this month you have started giving full body tackle hugs to them which they love and ask you to do over and over again. The 3 of you have such good relationships, I just love to see you all interact together and love on each other. God knew what He was doing when he surprised us with you. You are so special to us and we love watching you grow and mature everyday!
We love you so much!

Costa Rica Day 5

This morning we woke early and drove the 3 hours back to the airport. We got to see the western side of the country on our way back and it was very different than the eastern side but equally as beautiful. I absolutely loved this trip. The people here live so simply and they are so obviously happy. God's beautiful creation is so easily seen here. If I lived here I would want to be outside 24.7!

We landed at 5:30pm and literally raced to get through customs and get to our car because we could not WAIT to see our babies. We pulled in just in time to be able to spend some time with them before bed. We missed these guys SO much. They had a blast with Nana and Pop and I am fairly certain they grew up over night while we were gone. I love to get away and spend time with Jordan, we have so much fun together but naturally we always miss our sweet babies and their cuteness. I love my little family.
