No news is good news

I had a good appointment with the perinatologist today. Good in that nothing has changed. I am still on bed rest and my cervix is still short (2.2 cm) but it has held steady in the same spot for the past 2 weeks. In short, it seems bed rest is doing the trick. Also, I passed the gestational diabetes screen from my appointment last week, which is always good to hear. We are 26w3d pregnant and holding steady. Praise God!

Sending prayers your way,I know the bed rest can be tough & its scary to think of having a preemie. But my son Sebastien(now a giant 6 year old who looks 10 lol you would never know the child was a preemie!) was born at 32 weeks I was terrified but GOD is so good that he was perfect no oxygen,no incubator none of the "normal preemie issues" he was 4lbs & 4oz 17.5 inches long but GOD made him strong & healthy & he only had to spend 1 night in the NICU before moving to the "feeder grower nursery" 3 weeks later at 35wks when he as still suppose to be in the womb he came home a 7lb 8oz healthy boy. So Just keep praying & I will keep you in you prayers that GOD blesses you to make it full-term but if little miss Audrey does have to make her debut early that you are just as blessed as we were. I know its been years since we have talked but have had you & your family in my prayers as I've seen your post about the pregnancy complications. But always have to be there for my former fellow ballet buddy from Ms.Natalie's! I still have photos of you,me & Meagan at our recital!:) Love & Prayers to you!

Oh my goodness! I haven't visited your blog for a couple of years (sorry! I lost the link and time flies, etc). Belated Congratulations on your sweet baby girl and your pregnancy! Hope all goes well for you. I also had a short cervix with my last two but was just good enough to dodge being put on bedrest. Nice to catch up on your adventures in parenting. Been a long time since the webmd message board.
